Following continued support throughout Europe and North America, FlagStone Technology now has another official credential to add to its belt.
After rigorous qualification, CSE, Canada's Communications Security Establishment this month elevated FlagStone Enhanced to 'Approved for Use' status amongst Government of Canada personnel.
"This is a remarkable achievement for Stonewood's FlagStone Range. Gaining approval so rapidly demonstrates the quality of our products and the increasing importance of Data at Rest protection. In addition to our initial home-territory success in the UK, Stonewood's security products are now achieving worldwide recognition" Wendy Hyde, Business Development Manager, FlagStone International
This Approval strengthens FlagStone Technology's reputation as an advanced data security solution. By incorporating sophisticated authentication, FIPS validated encryption and state-of-the-art data storage into a hardware security device; FlagStone Drives provide unparalleled information security.
FlagStone Enhanced was first accredited by CESG in April 2005. At that time, CSE were already sourcing an appropriate solution to secure Protectively Marked data within the Canadian Government and Military. On being introduced to the FlagStone Range, CSE instigated their own assessment and have since adopted the CESG Accredited FlagStone Technology as the hardware option of choice to safeguard their nation's data.
