Effective April 10, 2009 Elytra's security services will be revitalized as Dessau Ontario Telecom and Security which will encompass all present Elytra management and employees.

The Elytra brand and website will be maintained indefinitely, and focus exclusively on product sales and solutions. The site will also facilitate all Elytra contractual arrangements until they life out, or can be seamlessly transferred under Dessau. 

The mandate of Dessau Ontario Telecom and Security services consists of IT Security, Physical Security, Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), and Telecom Solutions.
